Prayer Shawl:
What Is It?
Gather with other ladies and turn your interest into a ministry of prayer and encouragement. As you create your shawl, pray intentionally for the person who will receive it. This will be someone who has a serious burden in his/her life and needs the reminder that Believers are praying and the Lord is answering! Bring your own supplies; patterns available as needed.

When & Where Do We Meet?
Come join us on the first Monday of each month at 10:00 am in Room A-210 at First Baptist Church.
Please call Lynne Ellis for further information at 563-4837.

Women in Prayer:
Cast your cares upon Him for He cares for you. - 1 Peter 5:7
What Is It?
The Lord is inviting you to come and cast your cares on Him and let Him care for you. As women we look for and long for relationship, that sense of belonging, connectedness. We love to talk and share but often we talk too much and share with the wrong people. We desire to be known and to be understood. We want someone to listen, to really hear, to know us and to love us, but often times we are disappointed and frustrated because we have been misunderstood or failed to communicate in a way that allows others to truly understand us.It leaves us feeling unloved.

There is One who longs to hear your voice, who longs for a deep, loving, intimate relationship with you. He understands you better than anyone else. He not only understands you, He is also able to speak to and act on every single issue of your heart and life. He invites you. He longs for you and desires a relationship with you. He paid a great price so that you could have a relationship with Him. So…..will you come? Will you connect with Him in prayer?
He speaks – you speak.
He listens – you listen.
He acts – you obey.
He loves – you love and are loved.
Everything that you need is found in Him.
Ask… Receive. Seek... Find. Knock... It will be opened.
